Teufelberger Ocean Polyester Eye & Eye Prusiks are a popular friction hitch for professional arborists. This prusik has two sewn spliced eyes, which fit snugly over many carabiners, keeping everything nice and tidy. Ocean Polyester is constructed of a polyester/Aramid cover, with a polyster core. The polyester/Aramid cover is highly abrasive and heat resistant, while the polyester core gives it good strength characteristics. 8mm Ocean Polyester works best with 7/16″ (11mm – 11.7mm) climbing rope.
